Description: Enhance your underwater photography with the Zen 200mm Glass Dome Port for Aquatica. The Zen Underwater DP-200 port is an 8" segment of a much larger BK7 crystal glass dome. This yields optical performance on par with virtually any similar or larger dome currently available. The large radius assures a thin water line for over/under shooting, and the glass minimizes water beading.The interior of the dome element is coated with a magnesium fluoride broadband anti-reflective coating to minimize internal reflections from camera lenses, lettering on cameras, etc. which can be problematic when shooting over/under scenes.The exterior is treated with a proprietary scratch resistant coating to control lens flare. This coating yields an amazing 99.7%+ transmissive value for true distortion free images.The exclusive Zen Modular Mount mates with the dome assembly via a reliable and rugged bayonet mount, eliminating any possibility of dissimilar metal corrosion. The heavy duty (4mm thick) aluminum shade is designed to offer a lifetime of service and extends far enough to protect the dome when placed face down. The dome shade as pictured is easily removed for full frame fisheye shots by four set screws. Included is an allen wrench for removal and adjustment. The glass and black anodizing of the port are excellent, some signs of normal useage are apparent on the dome shade as viewed in the pictures.
