This model corresponds to the current YAS 480. It seems that the 475 era was made in Japan. I bought it second hand last year and used it about 5 times a week for about a year. I was a complete beginner when I bought it, but it was very easy to play and I could play it from top to bottom without any problems (I was not able to check the flageolet). This is my subjective opinion, but it produced a thick sound that was comparable to the newly purchased Wood Stone saxophone. Since it is a YAMAHA, the pitch was also very good. I had it adjusted in May, and they adjusted the neck fit, replaced the bass pads, and adjusted the balance. Since it is an old instrument, there is some rust and peeling lacquer.
