The top of the magazine's floorplate is stamped with an "L" denoting production by M. S. Little Mfg. Co. Of particular interest, the bottom of the floorplate is stamped "C-L" which indicates this magazine was a part of a contract completed by Little for Colt. Evidence of age, service and storage can be detected but strong traces of the original blued finish remain.
