After looking at all the other reproduction drop ropes being offered, and baring in mind this is just rope that is curled up nicely, I couldn't bring myself to pay between £25-40 with postage from some companies and individuals. So I went out and purchased 100meters of pure cotton rope, no plastic coating entwined inside, just 100% original pure cotton rope. Its 10-12mm thick (originals specs state 5/8 of an inch) so its pretty much perfect. These are a tiny bit shorter than originals, but unless your going to unravel it and start measuring it in front of people, nobody else would ever know. These are tied off in a variety of different manners, no two were ever alike as they were made by hundreds of different women and it was about getting them made quickly, efficiently and not for the aesthetics of the rope!
