Description: You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Vet Pick-Up K98 Bayonet! Though mis-matched, it comes complete with the original scabbard! Made of bakelite and steel, this German K98 Bayonet is in EXCELLENT used condition. Made by E.uF Horster, there are some marks, wear, and pitting due to the age, but nothing that detracts. No sharpening to the blade, however the tip does have some wear. It features bark brown bakelite grips, and is marked: E. u. F. Horster 4502n40 The scabbard is original to this knife, but is non-matching (probably swapped out during the war). Condition matches that of the blade, with some minor marks and scratches due to the age. It is marked: J.Sch.19401698b There is a waffenampt on the finial, but it is too small for me to make out.
