Description: For auction is a vintage WW2 era U.S. Navy BU AERO Mark 21 F.S.S.C. 88-B-320 (7x 50) power binoculars & SARD Case. Various measurements are pictured. Although the rubber eye shields are hardened, both were still fully intact until they were put back into the case by a friend a few days ago and somehow one of the shields were broken off as pictured up close in the photo section. The binoculars show average signs of use, age and wear including but not limited to black paint finish discoloration in a couple of spots, the leather strap is hardened some but still pliable and several small minuscule scratches and scuffs. All joints are still tight and adjust properly. Granted my eyesight isn’t the best nowadays, but I personally can see very well through them. They are still pretty clear to me. The case is in the same condition really. The leather is still reasonably pliable. The top still opens and closes ok. The strap is still pliable. The case clasp still works fine and is tight. The clasp strap has a good bit of wear but is still intact. Despite all said, it’s still an overall good used well made set! Hopefully, perhaps both are a little nicer than I’ve described? I hope this to be the case but I’d rather the buyer to receive it and be happy and disappointed. Nice set! If any issues arise PLEASE contact me first before leaving feedback for a near immediate solution. My #1 goal is happy, satisfied customers. Look at pics well and determine condition for yourself, feel free to ask any questions you may have. The piece pictured is the one you will receive. I will ship within 24 hours of payment. Thanks!!! 🙂🇺🇸
