Description: Hi I am selling some of my 1914 Xmas tin collection that I have collected over the years. Here for sale is a Vintage Original WW1 1914 Princess Mary Christmas tin including a Sterling silver pencil in case, a WW1 mini walking out medal and Xmas Greeting Card dated 1914. The Sterling silver pencils were usually given to officers. The pencil is M.O.D. Broad arrow marked on the end of the casing. The tin is an embossed brass box that originally contained a variety of items such as tobacco and chocolate and was given as a Christmas present to those serving at Christmas in 1914 and was paid for by a public fund backed by Princess Mary. The tin is in a used condition with some blemishes and dents but without splits.
