Description: This brooch has surprising heft at 1.7 ounces. It is not signed. I picked it up in an interesting jewelry lot at auction that was filled with jewelry that spanned from the Victorian era to the 1980's. What is the subject matter? A decaying leaf? A cross section of a shell? Abstract art? Please be aware that one corner of the back pin has come loose from the brooch.
