I believe this is a World War 1 or WWII BRITISH ARMY BLACKSMITH CAP BADGE . This item does not have a date on it, so I am not sure exactly when this was made, could be World War I or after , the piece of paper it came with says World War I, but it could be World War II , there's no date on here, just want to be up front with you. This is an all brass item , the back has a metal pin, and a metal plate, which is really cool. This item was found on the east coast of the United States, the Maryland area to be exact. I did absolutely nothing to this item, except take pictures, so you can clean this item up if you'd like, or you can just leave it alone and add it to a really cool collection , either way I think this is a fantastic find, and would be a great gift for any collector or any collection.
