Description: WONDER WOMAN #53 Features Lie Detector that was invented by William Moulton Marston! D.C. Comics 1952 This golden age Wonder Woman book is in good shape for it's age. It is complete with no cut-outs and I could not detect any signs of restoration. Front cover has edge and spine wear with creases and small tears/chips to 1/2", small piece of tape on interior side, and small stains. Back cover has 3/4" piece missing from bottom right corner, bottom edge wear with small tears/chips to 1/4" small stains, creases, and spine/staple tears to 1/4" or so. The spine has 1/2" split at bottom, small tears/chips, and a slight roll. The cover is detached at top staple and the centerfold is attached at both staples. Interior pages have some stains/fingerprints and last 3 pages are missing a small 1/2" piece at the bottom inner corner. PLEASE take a close look at the photographs and assess the condition yourself before purchasing. Shipping: Raw comic books are either sent in Gemini mailers (or similar) or sandwiched between sturdy thick cardboard pieces. Comic books are firmly attached to cardboard with blue painter's tape to ensure they stay put in transit and to make it easier for the buyer to unpack. Orders of up to 1 pound are shipped via USPS first-class mail. Orders over 1 pound are sent priority mail (note that comic books cannot be sent media mail per USPS regulations). All slabs are double boxed with ample packing material. Returns: Returns available for most raw comic books. I do not generally accept returns for graded books, but there are exceptions - I will accept a return if there is a defect in the slab due to CGC encasing or if the book is damaged during transit.
