Description: 24v DC & 40W Wire Feed Motor Wire Feed Assembly for Welder Speed 2-13.5m/min Regarding the installation on the Miller welder. It had to be installed on opposite side of the welder because of the different orientation of the feeder. It welds great. The stability of the wire feed is really good and because the arc is being fed consistently the quality of the weld almost looks like caulk that was smoothed over with your finger. Its not a pretty install but it was worth showing the photo for the person who needs a functional machine and can live with a different approach. Regarding the torch. You'll need the one that has a brass male fitting that slides directly into this wire feeder. Width is going to be .63" and length 1.75" -- it will have two rubber o rings near the back of the male to seal the connection for gas flow. They are available on ebay for a reasonable price, often called "Lincoln" or "Magnum" torch. Its worth mentioning that this feeder is 40 watts, not a 10 watt feeder from a low end welder. My experience has been that even a low end welder can supply the power needed for this feeder. But more importantly is that this feeder's stability comes from a heavier build and the consistent rate of speed that the wire goes into the arc. Sept. 30, 2023 - a customer successfully adapted this feeder to work on an Eastwood MIG 175. To complete the install a torch cable was also purchased that fit this feeder.
