Description: Finished hand-stitched needlepoint tapestry of a winter scene of a lake with homes. This piece has substantial detailed 20-count petit point in addition to traditional 10-count gros point. All flat snow surfaces are in petit point, making the snow appear smooth like real snow. The homes and many of the trees and branches are also in petit point. Design is 20" wide by 14 1/4" high and complete in 100% wool using continental stitching. The canvas is 100% cotton 10-count Penelope 26" wide by 20 3/4" tall. This finished canvas is new from our warehouse after we consolidated our chain of retail yarn shops. The canvas has a hole on the left edge about 2 1/4" from the actual design. This area will be trimmed or tucked when finished as a picture, pillow, or cushion. The hole was made by a distributor at a needlecraft trade show when it was mounted on his display booth. We purchased this canvas from him at the show.
