A portrait of a bearded man with two little daughters; "(sitting) Jennie Walmsley Yearsley and Mary Ellen Walmsley Rambo (standing) with their father Joseph Walmsley grandfather of Mabel, Bertha & Carlton Yearsley,Sr. & Jennie Yearsley mother of Mabel, Bertha & Carlton..." He was born in Byberry, Pennsylvania in 1838 and died 25 December 1891; married to Lizzie Reese (born 1830); son of Silas Walmsley (1794-1865) and Jane Knight (1800-1883). Mounted in oval antique frame with wear, etc., with genealogical notes on back, measuring 11-3/4 by 13 inches.
