Description: This is a rare September 30th, 1923 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the Winter Garden's Annual Fall Revue "THE PASSING SHOW OF 1922" at the Shubert Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. (The production opened September 20th, 1922 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City and ran for 85 performances before going on the road.) ..... "The Passing Show" began in 1912 (not counting an 1894 production at the Casino Theatre) as a Winter Garden Extravaganza. Like earlier productions, the 1922 edition starred WILLIE and EUGENE HOWARD. CONDITION: With the exception of minor edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
