Description: William Lowe Hand Colored Pink Roses & Gold Porcelain Waste Bowl C. 1874 - 1891 Nice rare porcelain bone china waste bowl in the 6251 Roses Sprays pattern by William Lowe. Decorated with hand colored pink roses with raised white enamel highlights. With double gold gilding along the edge of the bowl with small gold gilt dots underneath. Also has a ring of gold gilding along the base. Unmarked, but matches other pieces I have listed separately that are marked. Circa 1874 to 1891. Has a small flake to the foot rim, which is probably an in manufacture stacking flaw. Also has some minor wear to the gilding along the edge, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide x 3 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. KQ
