Description: Here's a very uncommon, if not rare, William Henry Clay made holster from Brownsville TX. The holster seems to fit a Colt Single Action Army with a 4 3/4" barrel pretty well. W.H. Clay made holsters that border on the Brill styled holster's of the time period. Without any doubt, he was making holsters for cowboys, Rangers, and other men carrying guns on horseback along the Mexican border at the turn of the century. The holster is in well used condition, but displays beautifully. As with a 120+ year old leather holster, and as you can see in the photos, it's well worn. Some stitching is loose. The leather is somewhat pliable, though shows gouges, marks, nicks, abrasions, dry cracking and checking, etc. Sold As Is – No Returns. Please view photos. I try to take pictures to show the condition as best as possible, but you’ll need to view photos to gauge for yourself. Most of what I sell is in excess of 80-100 years old. I cannot describe every single nick, mark, gouge, etc in condition, though I’ll do my best. If you’re committed to buying this, you’re buying an old antique. I have 100% feedback and will work with you if there is a shipping damage concern, though if a package arrives damaged, you must note it with the carrier or refuse it in order for me to file for insurance coverage.Shipping is a flat rate of $15.00. I ship to the USA only, USPS and insure every package. More expensive items will require registered mail. I cover the difference of shipping if it’s more than what you’ve paid.
