Description: The late William Eisner was the dean of American cartoonists. He was one of the first cartoonists to work in the American comic book industry and he popularized the term graphic novel. He was an inaugural inductee into the Comic Book Hall of Fame which is named after him and as is the annual Eisner award for the best comic illustrator in the USA. This lithograph was created in 1985 and is signed by Eisner himself. It is a limited edition of 1,500. The seller acquired this piece directly from Eisner at a convention in 1985.
