Description: This is a rare find! Vance Randolph's stories collected from Ozark pioneers were first published in "blue books," that is, pamphlet-type books with paper covers, about 5.5 X 8.5 inches. The books printed during World War II were on a newsprint-type paper that has done a dismal job of aging. The book is all there, it's just crumbling around the edges, and the folded edge has cracked open. You'll have to be a serious collector to appreciate this original blue book. See photos. Note: this is NOT a reproduction. No returns; please message me through eBay if you have questions before buying. Fine Print I don't accept refunds after I had some experiences with people buying books, photocopying all or parts of them, then requesting a refund. If I've misstated something in the description or if you have a valid reason for a return, certainly I'll make it right. Contact me before you send a return. "Free" shipping isn't free; you're smart enough to know that. I ship as economically as possible. I think you ought to know the true price of the item and make your own choice among shipping options. If you're buying more than one item, I always combine postage and immediately refund any amount that seems excessive.
