Description: Here is a wonderful, hard to find antique Wilcox Sterling Silver - Meriden Amercian Brilliant Cut glass ice bucket/pail with handle from I believe in the 1880s-1890s. The glass is cut in a Prism pattern with 2 verticle miters being smooth and alternating with 2 miters that are notched. The bottom has a 16 point cut star. It has a thick solid beaded band of sterling silver on the tim and a sterling silver handle. The silver band is marked WWS STERLING. It stands 5" tall, not counting the handle and about 5 1/2" at it's widest point. There are some tiny nicks/fleabites upon inspection and by feel, along with some typical surface wear and scratches on the base. I don't see any stains or discolorations. The silver looks excellent, just needing to be polished. Shipping is Monday-Friday unless otherwise noted, excluding major holidays.
