Description: This is the original White's TDI PI metal detector, which is arguably the deepest commercial metal detector (deeper than the later TDI SL / BeachHunter, the older Surf / Surfmaster PI, and the newer Minelab and Garrett detectors). With manual controls for gain, pulse delay, threshold and ground balance, you can get this dialed in for maximum depth in the most challenging of mineralized conditions. If using the ground balance feature, it will give you two tone audio which can be used to discriminate based on the conductivity of the target. Compatible with a wide range of Whites and Minelab search coils.
