From the artist: This piece had to be unique and highlight the year of Tornillo, as it was Whiskey Myers final print of 2022 which was highlighted by a groundbreaking album and tour respectively. We chose to use songs off the Tornillo record to create characters that could embody our comedic interpretation of their potential meaning(s). Are these literal interpretations..NO. They are comedic, fun, and different from anything we have done throughout 2022. From John Wayne impersonators to gentlemen who haven’t showered & have stinky feet, to the wolf man and more. These characters were a lighthearted take on the great music they were named after. If that wasn’t enough, we did the best job we could do on solving the mystery that is identifying the real Whiskey Myers. To cap it all off we wanted to go big, REAL BIG. This print is 36 x 24 and is the first full color uncut variant Whiskey Myers X SoundWaves Creative has ever done. This one is special hope y’all enjoy. This gorgeous multi color hand pulled silkscreen print was created by Soundwaves Creative and is numbered and embossed out of just 125 made!
