Description: PLEASE NOTE: I’m not a professional grader but have over 40 years of collecting, trading & selling comic books & other collectibles. Please read description in 3rd paragraph. I may feel a faint water stain on the back cover is minor where someone else feels it’s more of a major defect. What I may think is a 6.0 or 6.5 someone else may think it’s a 5.0 or 5.5. I try to note what I feel are the most notable of defects and give honest grade ranges. I’m not trying to hide anything, I just may think something is not as major as someone else. Please do not purchase if you disagree or like to debate grade ranges. Purchase professionally graded comics then. I see the poorly graded comics listed out there. Story by Don Glut, art by Rick Hoberg with “great” Journey Into Mystery #83 cover homage by John Buscema. 1st Jane Foster as Thor (out of Marvel Comics continuity). Vintage “KEY” WHAT IF? issue and a “MUST HAVE” for any Marvel Comics and THOR completist/collector. In my estimation the book ranges in “NICE” (7.5) VERY FINE- to (8.5) VERY FINE+ condition with white to off-white pages. Extremely moderate wear to cover, spine, corners & edges. Wrinkle/ripple at lower right edge on back cover. A excellent, tight, bright & glossy looking copy. This book has been in my possession for the past 45 years. There are no other glaring flaws to note, that is not typical to books falling under the indicated grade ranges or visible in pictures. I am not a professional grader but grade very conservatively using The Overstreet Price Guide as reference and my 40+ years of comic book collecting/selling experience.
