It is a gold tone metal buckle with silver tone accents, and with a porcelain art mount, signed by artist "Castello", from the 1980s. You can see what appear to be brush strokes, so it does look hand painted. It is in pretty nice condition, as shown in the photos it does have some wear and tear from age or use. It measures approximately 3-5/8" x 2-5/8", it fits a 1-1/2" wide belt and it weighs about 3.4 oz.
