Description: Up for sale is rarely seen Weller Pottery Claremont pedestal vase with handles measuring 7" across (at the handles). If you look closely, at the photo of the base of this vase, you'll see the initials of the artist (glaze decorator) just below the W in WELLER. The last photo shows a reprint, of a photo from the Ohio Historical Society, showing pieces from Weller's Claremont line of art pottery. This vase, made in the early 1920's, is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Any white spots, in the photos, are just light reflecting. If you're an avid collector of Weller pottery then I don't have to say this but Weller's Claremont line of art pottery is extremely hard to find, today, and rarely comes up for sale or auction.
