Description: This is a beautiful elegant vintage porcelain Candy Dish made in Weimar, Germany, c.1950s. The pattern is called Sabine. Fully marked and numbered (please, see pics. 8 & 9) (the lid in numbered on the inside - 58). The piece was made for export to the USSR, so there is writing in Russian on the bottom of the dish saying "Porcelain from GDR". Both the dish and the lid are dark burgundy on the outside and white inside. The lid is hand decorated with a very detailed high quality gold flower. The edge of the lid is gold painted as well. Please excuse any white camera flash spots in the pictures. The dish measures 4-1/2" in diameter on the top and 2" in diameter at the bottom. The lid is 5" in diameter. In excellent vintage condition, no cracks or repairs. Very high quality piece. S&H for the continental US is $10.95 including Delivery Confirmation.
