This pre-dated the tankobon, making this the 1st appearance of Devilman in any medium. It was graded 3.0 ("Good / Very Good") by Beckett / CBCS with "Off-White Pages". Fakes are fairly rare, with the exception of 4 books: Shonen Jump 1984 No. 51 (1st Dragon Ball); Shonen Jump 1999 No. 43 (1st Naruto); Shonen Jump 1998 No. 14 (1st Hunter X Hunter); and Shonen Jump 1997 No. 34 (1st One Piece). These fakes are fairly easy to identify if you've been collecting manga for a while, but if not, you need to be careful about buying these books from a reputable source unless they have been authenticated/graded.
