Essentially, I wanted a bag thathad nearly twice the volume of other bags on the market, but weighed almost half as much. Most bags out there maxout at 25L and weigh 6 or more pounds.This bag uses the lightweight xPac fabric which has a cotton duck face fabric "with Dimension Polyant's signature X-Ply reinforcement and 100% waterproof polyester film backing – there is no PU coating to leak or peel off." While the baglooks great, it has also survived many, many Pacific Northwest rain showers and storms always keeping the contentscompletely dry. Though I've carted 1000s of packages, and made many trips to the grocery store and farmers market andthe hardware store, it still looks almost new. This is an heirloom-quality bag.A few other important details, the bag has RaClips attached to the bottom which clip to 5/16" rack rails. My old rack was14" wide and 12" deep, so the bag was made to fit a rack of these approximate dimensions. The RaClips can be moved asneeded. For added security, there are velcro straps to attach to a rack's backstop. And, lastly, there are shoulder carry straps which stow away in zippered pockets. If removing the side, plastic stiffeners, the bag can be compressed down to allow packing for travel, or strapping it down on the rack when it's empty or near empty.I am selling the bag as I no longer have the bike I used it with. It's the perfect front rack bag for any daily urban rider, forcold and wet weather commuting, working as a messenger, and anyone who occasionally needs to haul stuff, and has a rack on which to place such a bag.Also, included is a compression cargo net, and two compression straps for use with or without the bag. Note, if the stiffening panels are removed, the bag can be flattened to makes smaller for travel.
