Description: 1920s WATERMAN'S 452 1/2V Rare Hand Engraved Sterling Silver Fountain Pen. 5 1/16 inches capped, 6 5/16 inches posted. Around about 100 Years Old & Working Very Nice! Lightly smoothed & adjusted, nib is a very smooth writer for a fine point. Nib has a little flex, will create nice variation, upside down finer lines are possible. Made a repair to personalization area, top half had lifted. (see photo) Pen has signs of major repairs when I received it. Silver barrel sleeve must have been removed & replaced. There is a space between end of silver sleeve & barrel on section end that normally would not be there. There is a sleight bow to barrel. A lady in Italy has same initials, last name, researcher at Naples University I think. These pens were all hand engraved so they are all one of a kind, perhaps this one had a name change or a lever replaced or both? I think it may have had an engraved lever originally. Have given it a faux patina. Have done almost my best at repairing it. Yet like art & life, you have to draw the line somewhere. Tested & Approved! I want to keep it now. See test scribbles for nib capability's. Very Smooth wet writer on cheap copy paper. Feel free to ask any ?s you may have. Beautiful Working & Useful again. Also will include a usable vintage ball-pen. A Rare Daily user, Collection or parts. Thank You for Shopping! Please See Other Items, Recycle with Ebay & Have A Great New Year !
