The tabs have NOT been bent again (which diminishes tensile strength causing the tabs to snap when attempting to install) NOTE: if you attempt to bend the tabs, install, and bend tabs to secure they will likely break. There is a process to install that requires heating the tabs. If you are not experienced with this process we recommend having the lever box professionally replaced. Lever itself plating is excellent, sides can be cleaned up but not visible once installed.
