Based on references in the songs to both Hubbell Hall and Michigan Tech, my educated guess is that "MCM" stands for Michigan College of Mines, which is located in Houghton, Michigan. Formerly known as the Michigan Mining School, the college became Michigan College of Mines in 1897, and again changed its name in 1927, when it became the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (or "Michigan Tech"). Hubbell Hall, built in 1887 to house the Michigan Mining School, was demolished in 1968.It looks to be in about VG+ condition or better, still beautifully shiny and very little visible surface wear of any great significance. I played both sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were no skips or repeats, and mostly only typical light levels of background noise, with a few isolated clicks or pops.
