Description: Destiny takes an unpredictable turn when Mix Juice, the unknown girl group, teams up with Dr. Susumo Tsukumo, a genius scientist, to become the first band on the moon. Or, will they freeze to death in space?At the opening of the broadcast series Wandaba Style (2003), "genius manager" Michael Hanagata recruits four quarrelsome, unsuccessful girl singers to form the group Mix Juice. He persuades pint-sized scientist Susumu Tsukomo to send the girls and pert assistant "experimental satellite Kiku #8" to the moon for their inaugural concert. Tsukomo's Wandaba machine sends the girls into space, but something always goes wrong with his calculations. They never make it to the moon and the concert never takes place. It doesn't matter. The only reason anything happens in this jejeune "fan service" comedy is to provide an excuse for the girls to lose their clothes. Wandaba Style will please otoku who don't want a plot or characters getting in the way of the panty shots; others will find the manic pace and idiotic story quickly cloy.
