The width of walnut is 9 inches + and thickness is 4 inches at thickest. Wood has some worm holes some cracks but is solid.The widest part of the Circular Base is 15 and 1/2 inches.It is extremely stout and is really heavy and is in nice condition. It holds up to my 235 pounds with ease. This is a one off. It looks much nicer than the photos and you will not be disappointed.
