Description: Vintage WT Grant Crest Fine China Japan Golden Swirl 9" Vegetable Serving Bowl in Gd/Vg condition. Measures 9" width, 2-1.4" height. Very nice condition. No cracks or crazing. No real chips, except for what some would call a small flea bite along the rim where it is not really chipped but lightly scuffed and no longer smooth measuring maybe in 1/8th inch. White swirl pattern with vibrant gold corored leaves. Gold trim along the rim shows modest scuffing including the 1/8th flea bite listed above. The bowl itself is clean without any excessive wear or tool marks. W.T.Grant had several potteries in US and Japan making china for him to sell in his stores. I don't know the exact age of this pattern. Likely it was made late '50s into the mid-1960s.
