Description: Very sweet Toilet Tissue Holder. We got this from my Aunt and Uncle in the 80's. I'm not sure if they bought it or made it. It hung next to our "Hair and Make-up" area in the corner of our dining room for all us girls to get ready for school or church. We set out hairsprays on top, inside we had our make-ups and our Avon roll-on deodorants! and the glossy roll-on Lip Smackers from the dime store. We hung our hair ribbons and belts from the tissue bar. So fun to think back. This is not going to look new, so please look the pictures over carefully!The measurements are 14" Tall, 6 5/8" across, and 6" deep. *This is Medium Stained Wood. It has just a hint of shine to it. It has all the "old" things like like wore off edges and some random light scratches. No broke-off pieces or cracked wood. It is very sturdy, not delicate. *There are 2 holes that were made to hang it on the wall. We hung it on 2 nails. *The painted areas are of Strawberry Blossoms and Strawberries, and their Green Leaves. No paint is chipped or missing. You can see and feel the paintbrush marks and texture. *The front has a White Knob and is not plastic. Maybe Enamel or Ceramic or Glass- it's old.*The lid lifts up and down easily, and is not using metal hinges, I think maybe a dowel? There is room inside for 1 roll of Toilet Paper.*The Toilet Roll Bar is plastic and works very well. The spring inside is nice and tight, probably because we didn't use it for that, we were hanging belts and ribbons over it!*The lighter marks on the backside are paint, which is why I wonder if my Aunt painted it.Again, this does not look new; it is at least 40 years that it's been around our home. Overall a very fun piece, I hate to see it go. But it's only packed away here; someone should be enjoying it. Thank you for looking at our listing.We are a smoke-free, pet-free home.
