Description: This vintage Hattie Carnegie brooch pin features a design of a bee with trembling wings, and adorned with clear rhinestones on a coppery colored metal body. The piece is unsigned and is a vintage piece in used, not perfect, condition. There are no missing stones and the stones are bright and clear. However, the finish is not bright gold like you see in many or most of these pieces. Some of the coloring, or loss thereof, is due to age I am sure, but it seems possible to me that the coloring may have been more coppery or bronze when manufactured. Perhaps an expert on Hattie Carnegie might be able to provide more information. At any rate, look carefully at pictures and ask any questions before purchasing to decide if you want this item. Except for color, condition is excellent.
