VTG Signed J5-V NCAA Game Football 1976 Ohio State Buckeyes Team Woody Hayes +21

Description: This is NOT a souvenir stamped stadium ball but HAND SIGND. These are vintage signatures from members of the 1976 Ohio State Buckeyes team on a Spalding J5-V football which was the official inter-collegiate game ball of the period. Signatures include Woody Hayes (coach), Matt Jackson (WR), Jeff Logan (RB), Tom Cousineau (LB), Ron Springs (RB), Ernie Andrie (G), Bill Jaco (TE), Tom Roche (DB), Tom Blines (LB), Tim Sawicki (MG), Ed Thompson (LB), Joel Laser (G), Greg Castignola (QB), Ron Ayers (G), Mark Sullivan (DT), Paul Ross (DE), Tom Skladany (K), Mike Strahine (QB), Keith Saunders (DB), Lenny Mills (DB), Bob Brudzinski (LB), and Pete Johnson (RB). Some of the signatures are light and took some time to figure out. Because it is signed on a period game ball I believe it would have belonged to someone with close association to the team. This is a great looking ball and vintage hand signed team balls are hard to find. The ball is not cracked, crazed, or stiff and is somewhat inflated to a pleasing shape, but I have not tried to add air and with its age doubt whether it could be fully inflated.
