Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg. MGM star Margaret O'Brien straw hat with decorative navy blue cloth ribbon binding and decorative fruit pick embellishment. Good condition with age related issues. Small straw piece sticking out near top. The banding is navy blue colored with two long pieces that hang from the backside. ONe piece is longer than the other. Fake glossy fruit pick on front; the leaves also glossy. The red and yellow fruit have some crackling in the surface. A small chip in surface on the top yellow red berry. The purple or violet berry tip is slightly worn. A small pilling area behind fruit on navy ribbon. The ribbon also has a vertical ridge design. The underside has a white cloth lining and a white ridge vertical design. The underside white cloth is slightly yellowed with a few black ish spots. Can be buckled, maybe made that way. Theres a black string to wear around chin inside of face area, I assume. A few straw pieces sticking out under brim. Underside on white band cloth has a tag that says mgm with a star symbol, Margaret O'Brien. Hat by Cinderella, NY. There may be some tattering on tag edges. More so on mgm looo side. Sweet hat.
