Description: VINTAGE 1980S UPDATE OF A CLASSIC ART NOUVEAU/ART DECO DESIGN - "LADY IN THE LAKE" FREESTANDING TABLETOP VANITY MIRROR - NO BRAND OR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN MARKING Round 8" diameter mirror. Set in round gold-tone brass frame with 2 feet. Frame is about 10" tall, and 9" wide. Female figure's upper torso, left arm, head are three dimensional and extend over the mirror. Remainder of body in low relief as part of frame. Details of face reflected in mirror. Frame has floral, vine and filigree/texture details. Black cardboard backing with hinged easel support. Backing secured with 3 latches screwed into frame. No hardware for wall hanging. HEAVY - weighs 2 lbs. Lovely vintage recreation of an antique design. Excellent condition. No bends, dents, cracks, rust or excessive tarnish on frame. Very shiny, with darker "antiquing" in relief (lower) areas. Glass has no cracks, a few small surface scratches. No foggy or dark spots.
