I have sold a lot of these Rotor vegetable Slicer and every single one I have sold have the stress marks, it just happens after you use it the first time, as does this one(pictured) it does not affect its use though. The Colander and The Sieve are where the price is on this item, If you ever find these they are in the 150 range used by itself
