Vtg INDIAN BRIDAL NECKLACE Loose beads, unfinished MUST SEE Faux Pearls

The pieces are made of brass and feature various shapes of glass reflective cabochons in bezel settings and tassels of tiny faux seed pearls and turquoise beads. The pendant is round in shape and has five (5) loops for attaching strands to the two end pieces on either side. These handmade components are perfect for a traditional Indian wedding necklace or other special occasions. It is a perfect addition to any collection of vintage jewelry. The necklace pieces are original from India. Don't miss out on the chance to own this beautiful piece of jewelry. Inherited from my m-i-l. Found in this Christian Dior box and labeled; INDIAN BEADS. She lived in NYC and was quite a gifted crafter. She frequented flea markets, church bazaars, thrift shops and bead shops. I have no idea where she found them or what she intended to do with them. They are stunning! The center component measures 2 1/2" diameter and has five (5) loops and thirteen (13) stations at which tassels of seed pearl and turquoise seed beads dangle in groups of three. The two (2) end pieces measure 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" with a center loop for attaching to a chord to tie around the neck, and three (3) loops adjacent to the center loop for strands connecting to the center piece. There are 25 loose brass and glass drops and 18 faux pearls in addition to the pieces that are strung and attached. The box and its contents weighs 7 ounces. All vintage items are sold "as is".
