Description: Finding this rare Fostoria Monarch pattern is amazing in and of itself. To find the cordials in mint condition on the shelf of a cabinet in a barn is extraordinary! This is a set of 8 Fostoria Gold Encrusted, Gold Rim/Base, and Etched Crystal Cordial Glasses. They are in excellent condition. No flaws, chips, cracks, cloudiness, or fading of the gold-encrusted band or gold on the rim/base. All 8 have been preserved very very well. Handblown delicate crystal glass. Made in the United States during the short period of 1926 to 1928. Now discontinued. Very rare find. I have yet to find another Monarch (Gold) Fostoria pattern in any type of glass in stock that is for sale. Wonderful wedding or anniversary gift!
