Description: Pair of Vintage Antique Fostoria Ebony Black Amethyst Glass Candlesticks For Tapered Candles. These beautiful all-black candlesticks are from Fostoria's 1925 giftware Line #2324. Depression era Fostoria, These were only produced for a short period (1924-1926). They measure 3 1/4" tall and 5 3/8" wide at base. Deep wells are 1" wide and hold candles firmly. The Ebony is shiny and reflects any light beautifully. When held to very bright light the base amethyst color comes through, the glass so so incredibly dark that it's difficult to see. Almost Antique Used Condition.There are small deep scratches to the bases of both candlestick, one is worse than the other. It looks like in their long life someone removed wax with something sharp.
