VTG EDWIN KNOWLES 'PASADENA' 1~10 & 3/8" 'GREEN PLAID' DINNER PLATE GREEN,YELLOW

Description: Condition ~ The plate has a 3mm x 2mm chip of the glaze on the rim; there is a chip on the underside measuring 1 cm x .5 cm. There is also a small scrape in the center of the plate approximately i cm in diameter along with paper thin utensil lines. This is a Vintage Edwin Knowles Dinner Plate in the ‘Pasadena’ pattern in ‘Green Plaid’. The pattern features an air brushed green border on the rim, then a green and yellow plaid on an ivory body. It was made in 1952 in WV, and was advertised by Knowles as being ‘guaranteed against crazing, acid, and detergents’. It features a hand painted underglaze. Diameter is 10 & 3/8” and it stands 7/8” in height. Despite’s its imperfections, it would make a wonderful extra plate to have on hand ~ be sure to enlarge & examine all photos as they complete the description.
