Description: Offered is the vintage spiral-bound soft cover cookbook "The Island Epicurean", written and compiled by several different writers and published by The Antilles School in Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands. This book of "recipes from the Virgin Islands finest restaurants" is a stated limited edition first printing of 5,000 copies, from November, 1986. There are small single-color illustrations of each restaurant's logo. Also included is a matching bookmark (see last photo). This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies for sale on eBay and only one other elsewhere. The book is approx. 9" x 8 1/4" and contains 118 pages, including the index. It is in very good condition. The glossy soft cover has no tears, holes or other damage. There is some fading near the spiral binding and a small piece of tape attached to the back. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the spiral binding, clean and clear. I see no writing in the book except for a gift inscription written inside the front cover, dated 1989. The spiral binding is intact, with no breakage. The bookmark has no damage. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
