VTG Cobalt Blue Panel Glass Hazel Atlas? 4” Salt Pepper Shakers Metal Lid Red Pt

Description: Vintage salt and pepper shakers possibly Hazel Atlas. The beautiful cobalt blue design is panel glass. Ten sided - decagon shape. There is no marking on the glass. This design and the S & P tops are very unique. Color is a gorgeous cobalt blue. Look at the fabulous fire engine red paint patina on the metal lids!!! The lids are hand wash only - very gently to maintain the red patina. One lid has a capital S design in the holes. The other lid has a P in the holes. See pictures. Shakers measure 4 1/4 inches tall and 2 inches wide, with a diameter of 2 inches. Lids 5/8” tall, inside the base that screws onto the glass top measures 1 1/2” wide The lids are removable from the glass base. Only the glass base is waterproof, dishwasher safe. The set includes two shakers, a pepper shaker - a salt shaker and a pepper shaker. One of the glass shakers has a small bubble chip in the panel side. The chip measures 1/16 in diameter. It is the size of a sewing pin head. Please see pictures. These shakers are vintage. The glass and the lids show some wear, please see the pictures and see those of inside the lids. The metal is not as shiny inside the lids from the salt and pepper. There are some small dents in the lids from age use. There is no cracking in the glass, no chips in the tops or the base. The only chip is that one in the side that I mentioned earlier, I have included close-up pictures of that small bubble chip. These will ship in a wrapped 5” X 5” X 5” box placed inside a 6” x 6” x 6” box with lots of bubble wrap. The interior wrapping is a soft blue pattern - it is generic so no holiday design. These shakers go beautifully with blue Delft, blue Spode patterns, such as Blue Willow. For the person who loves blue dishes, the shakers would be a fabulous gift!!
