Description: This pair of vintage pre-UPC code 7 1/2" J.C. Penney 7010 black enamel handle zig-zag cut pinking (NOT straight edge) right-handed sewing scissors or shears are like new, and come with their original vinyl package sleeve. These made in Brazil shears are sharp, pleasing to hold, and really just superb! Great for crafting and sewing use! Blades, according to package (see photos) are made of "high carbon cutlery steel, drop forged." These scissors were priced at $15.95 decades ago!! The enameled black handles are smooth, the pivot is solid and tight, the chrome nickel finish on the blades is mirror bright, and the teeth mesh closely. Most importantly, these shears cut a nicely scalloped edge on fabric that when stitched won't ravel or fray. If as you look at the photos you think you are seeing repetitions, it is because these pinking scissors are beautiful from whatever side or angle they are viewed! Scissors weigh 6.1 ounces (174 grams). Note that the vinyl sleeve and inner paperboard show some yellowing and crumpling and that the vinyl pouch bears a small hole/tear at the bottom on its back side made by the tip of the shears.
