Description: Vintage photograph of female students in the hallways of The College of Saint Teresa in Winona Minnesota in the early 60s. Note: the last photo shows a similar scene in the hallway - it is a bit blurry- but I will include that photo as well with this listing. I love the casual nature of the photos and the bottles of pop on the lockers. Notice the nun tucked away in the corner. This photo was part of a collection of black and white 8 x10 photos that I purchased from an individual in Stewartville MN who acquired them from the estate of the photographer Harriet J Kelley of Winona, MN.Harriet J Kelley worked along with her brother Merritt " One Shot" Kelley at The Winona Daily News as well as being an independent photographer. The majority of the photos in the collection feature daily life of the students, nuns, faculty and employees/ staff of The College of Saint Teresa in Winona MN. The college was in operation from 1907 until 1989.This photo does not have a stamp on the back with her name and info as some in the collection do.Based on the other photos in the collection, I would estimate this photo to be from the early 1960s.
