Description: VTG 50s Gold Shimmer Brocade Roses Cocktail Mother Of Bride Dress Sz Sm. This is an absolutely lovely vintage 50s original cocktail dress in a lovely gold fabric with Shimmery gold metallic thread, brocade roses pattern. Short cap sleeves with a rounded neckline and diagonal dart coming down from mid arm pit to the waist on each front bodice. Two larger pleats on each front side waist with a cute little bow at the front waist. The skirt is a wee bit more full than a pencil skirt with the bodice being more fitted. A 20 inch zipper up the back, which works without any issues. It is unlined and no tags. Also has a 2 1/2 inch hem which is just tacked up, so could be let down a bit for the length.
