Description: French Country Pottery , you get both Pitchers. Measurements approximately 5 inches tall near 6.5" width. nice minimal handling. French Pottery Pitchers are most likely Savoie , Circa unknown to me. I am no expert, family items from my mother's cupboard. You may know exactly what they are, mine is a best guess.Antique French Savoie Pottery "Pichet Parlant" Talking Pitcher, Cafe or Wine in Glazed Pottery or a type of French Earthenware Barrel Shaped possibly called Cider PitchersSlipware relief on the glazed stoneware - country feel to these and just so fun, wheel-thrown pottery, hand decorated with custom writing related to the owner/buyer. I find No serious chips or mishaps, possible a few wee fleas or jiggers on spouts. It's old, it's used - everything part of the charm. One handle in photo shows faint age separation line. Very light and faint in glaze. The other looks fine. Shown in photos, A couple of small glaze flakes, maybe present expected.
