This gorgeous baby doll is from 1940’s, This is an Ideal Doll “Transition Plassie” Baby doll, in catalogs from her era, (which we have) in some publications, she was also called “Baby beautiful” (NOT the The Miracle on 34th street mold) her head is also the same mold as “Curly Haired Baby Beautiful” but without the hair….I have included a picture of that doll in the last photo above…..She is a very BIG life size baby measuring 25”-26 inches tall. (Measured along the curvature of her chubby baby legs)Composition head and limbs (some faint/minor crazing which has been controlled) Her body is cloth, her original crier inside her torso squeaks but you have to shake her.Dark brown molded/painted hair, pretty root beer brown big open and Close eyes with all of her original human hair lashes, her Sweet little coy smile will melt your heart!This beautiful baby is wearing an exquisite vintage outfit. I believe her dress is Factory original to her, a pale blue cotton organdy type with smocked bodice and delicate pink ric a rac detail near hem. She has on a NEW vintage style blue slip under her dress. Her beautiful antique ivory knit cardigan, booties and bonnet have delicate embroidered flower accents. She comes with her sweet vintage pink and blue telephone rattle she is holding.
